Alamo Drafthouse Claims Third NY Location at Brooklyn’s City Point

Huzzah! Another reason to celebrate New York City. The Alamo Drafthouse based out of Austin, Texas has announced a third location in the works for the New York City area. This latest Drafthouse will be a 7-screen theater built inside the brand new City Point complex in the heart of downtown Brooklyn (see Google Maps). The new facility will be called the Alamo Drafthouse City Point and will feature seven screens of new releases, repertory programming and the Alamo’s signature films in both 35mm and digital formats. This joins two other under construction New York City-area Drafthouses, but it won’t be opening until 2015.
