Atticus Ross is Scoring Carl Rinsch’s ’47 Ronin’ with Keanu Reeves

He’s going solo, no Reznor this time. Over at Film Music Reporter (via The Playlist) they’re reporting news that music producer/composer Atticus Ross is set to score 47 Ronin, the samurai action movie directed by Carl Rinsch, starring Keanu Reeves in the 18th Century story. We still haven’t seen a trailer or any footage or much from it yet, but I’m particularly excited based on what I’ve heard and the details behind it. Ross is most well known for his recent award winning work collaborating with Trent Reznor on those two David Fincher films The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. This should be good anyway. 47 Ronin is a 3D martial arts fantasy adventure epic based historic Japanese tale of the 47 Ronin.
