‘Breaking Bad’ Star Aaron Paul Wins a Lead Role in ‘Need For Speed’

This is all kinds of awesome. After making a name for himself as the complex addict-turned-chemist Jesse Pinkman on AMC’s incredible television series “Breaking Bad” and playing an alcoholic husband opposite Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the Sundance hit Smashed (out in theaters now), two-time Emmy winner Aaron Paul is about to shift gears and put the pedal to the metal. EW reports that Paul has won a lead role in DreamWorks’ upcoming film adaptation of the popular EA video game series Need For Speed that will be directed by Scott Waugh, co-director of Act of Valor, this year’s active duty Navy SEAL film.
