Charming CG Character Art Sets from Pixar’s ‘Monsters University’

One of the many reasons I’m very excited about the summer of 2013 line-up is this new Pixar movie, Monsters University, a prequel to their 2001 hit Monsters Inc. It’s arriving in late June of 2013 and we’ve already seen one set of teaser trailers so far. At D23 last year, Pixar did a presentation on how they’ve redesigned the look of the two main monsters, Mike and Sulley. Now our friends at Upcoming Pixar (via ComingSoon) have found a fantastic set of “new CG renders from the film”. The fanciful simple character art sets feature Mike, Sulley, and newcomer monsters like Art, Terry & Terri, Don and Squishy. Check ’em out! The full artwork comes from their Flickr gallery.
