Ethan Hawke Confirms ‘Before Sunset’ Sequel Development in Greece

Before Sunrise and Before Sunset films are some of the most well-loved romantic films of the past twenty years, and the creative team of director Richard Linklater and writer/stars Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy have been pestered with rumors of a third movie to round out a potential trilogy ever since Sunset’s gloriously ambiguous ending played out on screen. With nine years between the first two films, the nine year mark since Sunset came out is coming up next summer, and now MTV confirms the rumors that development is taking place between the three masterminds of this series right now in Greece.
