Foo Fighters Frontman Dave Grohl Directing ‘Sound City’ Studio Doc
Though fans of rock will know Dave Grohl as the frontman for Foo Fighters and the drummer for Nirvana, the musician has also had a couple big screen roles in the form of Satan in Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny and as Animool, the knock-off Animal from The Moopets in last year’s The Muppets. Well, now the musician is going behind the camera for a new documentary taking a look at Sound City, the iconic recording studio in Van Nuys, California where talents like Rage Against the Machine, Fleetwood Mac, Tomy Petty, Neil Young, Nirvana and more recorded some of their most revered music there.
