Fox Turning Cyberpunk Animated Short ‘ROSA’ Into a Feature Film
Last month the internet and Hollywood was all abuzz with a spectacular animated sci-fi short ROSA, and now the story is headed for the big screen. Heat Vision reports 20th Century Fox has picked up the short film from Jesus Orellana, the comic book artist who created the short and is slated to direct a live-action feature film adaptation of his original story that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. In one month, Orellana’s exposure online got him agency representation followed by meetings with studios to pitch his short as the basis for a feature film which was actually his plan all along.
