Indie Trailer Sunday: Freaky Argentinian Slow Burn Horror ‘Penumbra’

“Excellent selection.” We’ve got two (non-April Fools) indie trailers to feature today, both couldn’t be more unlike. This second one is for an Argentinian horror thriller called Penumbra, written and directed by the Bogliano Brothers, about a woman who rents out an apartment in Buenos Aires and everything isn’t what it seems. There’s a solar eclipse, many men tying up women, lots of screaming, it’s intense, but still billed as a “superbly realized South American horror slow-burner.” If this is your thing, or if that brutal image above somehow caught your attention, give it a look.
