Looks Like ‘Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters’ Will Be R-Rated After All

Put away your pitchforks, everybody. Okay, nobody was probably all that up in arms about the news that Paramount Pictures was apparently testing both R-rated and PG-13 versions of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters on audiences to see which played better. But either way, Collider now has word that Paramount is apparently planning on releasing an R-rated film no matter what. The issues with the different cuts in the screenings may just have been to see whether audiences preferred more blood and gore, or if the movie worked just as well without it. So it sounds like we’ll be getting a violent, fun fantasy action flick. Read on!
