‘The Artist’ Leads Nominations for The 65th Annual BAFTA Awards

After the Golden Globes were handed out over the weekend, the next big awards show we’re looking forward to is the 84th Academy Awards with Billy Crystal as master of ceremonies. However, across the pond, the UK is having their big night to celebrate cinema a bit earlier, so the nominations for the 65th Annual BAFTAs (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) were announced today, with winners coming February 12th. Unsurprisingly, The Artist leads the pack with 12 nominations, but Hugo and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy came away with a whole slew of solid noms, too. Check out all the nominees below!
