‘The Artist’ Star Jean Dujardin Taking on a Spy Role in ‘Möbius’ Next

One of the many actors to come out of 2011 with a lot of buzz is Frenchman Jean Dujardin, who starred in Michel Hazanavicius’ B&W silent film The Artist as George Valentin. He does an extraordinary job and I’m glad to see him continue taking on all the roles he wants. While this was first reported last year by Variety, over on EW.com they’re now confirming (in the middle of all the awards buzz) that Jean Dujardin will next be starring in a film called Möbius, from French director Eric Rochant (Love Without Pity, Long Live the Republic, “Mafiosa”). He’ll play an “experienced intelligence officer” and return to Europe to shoot. The film, Möbius, being written and directed by Eric Rochant, will star Jean Dujardin and Belgian actress Cécile de France.
