Tired of constantly flip-flopping on every single issue, Mitt Romney has instead taken to outright ignoring questions on his positions. Pool reporters covering Romney’s “storm relief event” in Ohio asked the candidate at least 11 times where he stands on FEMA, but were met with either silence or a smirk. During a primary debate last year, Romney said he would let FEMA go bankrupt and send emergency management back to the states or put it in the hands of the private sector. Honestly, there really is no reason to hound Romney with questions concerning his current attitude toward FEMA: The Washington Post already crunched the numbers, and, as far as FEMA goes, a Romney presidency would be a disaster.
