“It has changed everything.” Indeed. Time for a look back at Napster and the generation that built it and reshaped the music industry (and perhaps history) as we know it. Alex Winter, aka Bill S. Preston, Esq. turned filmmaker/producer, has directed a documentary called Downloaded the looks back at Napster – “the kids that created it, the bands and the businesses that were effected by it, and its impact on the world at large.” AICN has found the first trailer for Downloaded and it’s really damn good. The kind that makes you immediately want to watch this doc as soon as possible. Which may not be far off as this is a VH1 Rock Doc.
