Summit has unveiled the first trailer late tonight via Bloody-Disgusting for Scott Derrickson’s Sinister, a highly-buzzed about horror film that won over critics and fans at a surprise SXSW screening earlier this year (Jeremy’s review here). The horror flick stars Ethan Hawke as a true-crime novelist who moves into a new house that seems to have a mysterious connection to a horrific family murder. It was co-written by AICN’s Massawyrm, aka C. Robert Cargill, and is kind of a found footage mix that Jeremy calls a “welcomed discomfort” in the horror genre. View below!
