“It is about the old and the new.” Doesn’t everyone wish they owned an Aston Martin? Videos like this only make it worse, but they’re still cool to see. The latest Bond 23 video blog from Sam Mendes’ Skyfall is a featurette on the classic Aston Martin DB5 car, which first appeared in Goldfinger and is, for some odd reason, showing up in Skyfall, too. The video doesn’t reveal exactly why, but does drop quite a few hints about it. “There’s something about the last part of the movie which is deliberately, very consciously, could’ve taken place in 1962.” Instead, it does have a lot of sexy car shots, if you’re into that kind of stuff.
