Writers Guild Awards 2012 Nominees Include ‘Looper’ & ‘The Master’

Continuing our awards season coverage, we’ve got the nominees in for the 2013 Writers Guild Awards, as chosen by the Writers Guild of America. The winners will be announced this coming February 17th at a WGA ceremony. There are three separate categories of nominees – original, adapted, and documentary. Last year’s winners were Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris and The Descendants. This year I’m glad to see strong scripts like PTA’s The Master, Moonrise Kingdom, Zero Dark Thirty and Perks of Being a Wallflower, but noticeably missing are Django Unchained and Arbitrage.
