WWE Star Hornswoggle Taking Lead Role in ‘Leprechaun: Origins’

For the past few years, fans of WWE Studios have been treated mostly to family-friendly movies like Legendary, Knucklehead, and The Chaperone starring some of the biggest names in wrestling like John Cena, The Big Show, and Triple H. But the studio has heard feedback from the fans and decided to return to making PG-13 and R-rated films, and recently we reported that they’re planning a reboot of Warwick Davis’ Leprechaun series titled Leprechaun: Origins (not a joke). According to Variety, Davis’ replacement will be WWE star Hornswoggle, who portrays a mischievous leprechaun in and out of the ring on television.
