‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ Arriving in December of 2013

Briefly: Earlier this summer, two teaser trailers announced the return of Ron Burgundy and the Channel 4 News Team in Anchorman: The Legend Continues, a sequel that will arrive almost a full ten years after Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner all returned for the teaser, but we’ve only known the wide open projection of 2013 for the film’s release. Well, it’s getting almost the last possible release date that year as Paramount Pictures has just announced the sequel will arrive on December 20th, 2013. Kristen Wiig just joined the cast, but the film hasn’t even started shooting yet, so that’s going to be a fast turnaround. Hope that doesn’t taint the quality.
