Angelina Jolie Talks Story Elements & Wearing Horns for ‘Maleficent’

Actress Angelina Jolie took some time away from the spotlight to film her directorial debut, 2011’s In the Land of Blood and Honey. Now she’s preparing to get back in front of the camera again, starring in Disney’s Maleficent, the alternate take on the Sleeping Beauty sorceress. Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, and Oz, The Great and Powerful production designer Robert Stromberg is making his directorial debut on this one, and with the June start date quickly approaching, Jolie recently had a chat with Entertainment Weekly about the script, the influence the film will have on young girls, and wearing those iconic horns.
