Benedict Cumberbatch Talks ‘The Hobbit’, Promises It’ll Be ‘Amazing’

One of our favorite British actors on the rise is the one-and-only Benedict Cumberbatch, not only is he in BBC’s “Sherlock”, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and is shooting J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek 2 right now, but he’s also in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit – which got a new video blog today. In addition, on MTV (via TORn) they’ve posted a short new red carpet interview with Cumberbatch where he talks about his work on Hobbit, saying how “it’s going to be an amazing film; it’s going to be a real treat.” I’m already incredibly excited, but it’s still great to hear. “It’s a sort of wonderful ongoing process,” Cumberbatch says.
