Cameron Crowe Says Jonsi Will Be Scoring His New Comedy Film, Too

Go sing, too loud. If I haven’t said it enough, my favorite score of 2011 was indeed Jonsi’s We Bought a Zoo; I love Sigur Ros and his music here is just tremendous. Like David Fincher and Trent Reznor before them, it looks like filmmaker Cameron Crowe and Jonsi are now teaming up. The Playlist posted an update from Crowe himself via email, where he told them “yep, it’s with Jónsi,” in regards to his next film. I didn’t even know he had another one lined up! But they go on to say it is a “currently untitled comedy” inspired, in spirit, by director Preston Struges. Whatever it may be, I’m looking forward to seeing/hearing it already.
