Check This Out: A Crafty Sweded Trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Even though Michel Gondry’s comedy Be Kind Rewind didn’t make a big impression at the box office, it’s left a legacy for filmmakers to make cheap, “sweded” versions of their favorite films for everyone on the internet to see. Here we’ve more recently seen recreations of The Avengers trailer, and now that same crew, going by the name Dumb Drum, has sent us a sweded version of the most recent trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. It’s pretty funny, and even cunning the way some of the more special effects heavy sequences are pulled off with cardboard cutouts and paper materials, but most of all, it’s just fun. Watch!
