Dane DeHaan & More Up for Harry Osborn in ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’
With Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone back as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and new cast members like Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson and Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro, the cast of the blockbuster sequel is almost filled out. But one last key role to be filled is Harry Osborn, the childhood friend of Parker and eventually becomes one of his deadly foes in the comics. James Franco took on the role in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, but now Heat Vision has word that Dane DeHaan (Chronicle), Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro) and Brady Corbert (Melancholia) are up for the role. The character description has apparently been reworked because it originally called for a typical, athletically built actor, but a darker and edgier version has them looking at some different candidates.
