‘Die Hard 2’ Director Working on Competing ‘Hercules 3D’ Project Now

While Brett Ratner is working on putting together Hercules with Dwayne Johnson for an August 2014 release, it’s time for Hollywood to do their usual competing projects rigamarole. Heat Vision has word that Die Hard 2 and Cliffhanger director Renny Harlin is working on Hercules 3D, a big budget take on the Greek hero set up at Millennium. Production is slated to begin in May with an eye towards beating Ratner’s project at Paramount and MGM to theaters by arriving in March of 2014. Sounds like we’re looking at another Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman competition for supremacy in 2014. Read on!
