Director Sam Taylor-Johnson in Talks for ‘A Reliable Wife’ Adaptation

Finally, the next project from a director I greatly admire – Sam Taylor-Johnson. Formerly known as Sam Taylor-Wood (until she married actor Aaron Johnson) her feature directorial debut was highly underseen Beatles film Nowhere Boy, after a few shorts and photography work. I think she’s an incredibly underrated, very talented, refreshingly contemporary filmmaker and I’ve been anxious to follow her directing career. Deadline is reporting that Sony/Columbia Pictures is in talks to have Taylor-Johnson direct their adaptation of A Reliable Wife, the period thriller written by Robert Goolrick, about a snowy Wisconsin love triangle.
