Don’t Watch: A New ‘Jackass’ Inspired Trailer for ‘The Three Stooges’

While audiences shouldn’t be expecting anything but stupid slapstick humor from the long gestating big screen take on The Three Stooges from Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the once great comedic minds behind Dumb & Dumber and There’s Something About Mary, there’s just something that doesn’t feel right about the flick. The teaser didn’t impress us, and now a new trailer, taking cues from those modern day stooges from Jackass doesn’t change our minds. It just seems like this has missed the boat as the face of comedy has changed dramatically. Prat falls and hard hits are funny, but in the age of YouTube, only if they are real.
