First Dark, Gritty Poster for Joon-ho Bong’s ‘Snowpiercer’ Rides In

Gather round, light the oil lamps, and get your first look at this new poster for one of my most anticipated films. With a summer release planned, bits and pieces of Korean director Joon-ho Bong’s new science fiction post-apocalyptic film Snowpiercer have been revealed over the last few months. We’ve seen one photo and now Twitch has come up with the first poster. It’s a fairly simple quad poster with nothing but a dark image of a man standing in a train full of gritty passengers. That might be John Hurt back there, but it’s hard to tell and we don’t have a high res copy yet. I’m just excited to keep seeing more, can’t wait for actual footage.
