First Look: Michael Fassbender Unrecognizable in First ‘Frank’ Photo

Early last fall, we learned that Michael Fassbender would team up with Domhnall Gleeson (son of Brendan Gleeson) for director Lenny Abrahamson’s rock band comedy Frank. Just recently Maggie Gyllenhaal was listed to join that cast that also includes rising star Scoot McNairy, and now a first look photo from the film has emerged featuring her with Gleeson and an obscured Fassbender. The story follows a young wannabe musician (Gleeson), who discovers he’s bitten off more than he can chew when he joins a band of eccentric musicians led by the mysterious Frank (Fassbender) and his sidekick Clara (Gyllenhaal).
