First ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Trailer Also Playing with ‘The Hobbit’

Fear not, Trekkies, even if you don’t see The Hobbit in IMAX this December, you will still get to see some footage from J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness sequel. It’s one of my most anticipated movies of 2013 and I’m glad to hear they’re giving it a big push this winter. Earlier in the week, it was announced that the first 9 minutes of the movie would be showing in front of The Hobbit in IMAX on December 14th. Now Trek Movie has learned, similar to The Dark Knight Rises marketing, an actual first trailer will also debut in front of regular Hobbit showings (before hitting the web likely on the Monday after the weekend).
