First Trailer for Joss Whedon’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ Adaptation
Fans of The Avengers might be in love with Joss Whedon, but not all of that crowd is going to follow the director to his most recent film, a black and white, contemporary retelling of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Whedon does bring familiar faces like Nathan Fillion and Clark Gregg along for the ride in addition to Tom Lenk, Ashley Johnson, Reed Diamond, Riki Lindhome and Sean Maher. Personally, I’m interested in seeing a film from Whedon with Shakespearean verse as the dialogue as opposed to his own writing. It seems a bit pretentious, but our curiosity is certainly piqued.
