Full Returning and New Voice Cast Announced for Fox’s ‘Rio’ Sequel
After pulling in $484 million at the worldwide box office, 20th Century Fox quickly put together a sequel to Rio, the animated adventure comedy featuring Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg as two blue macaws. Now the studio has announced that Rio 2, which will arrive next spring, has pretty much everyone from the first film returning to reprise their voice roles. In addition to Hathaway and Eisenberg, will.i.am, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Rodrigo Santoro, Bebel Gilberto, Jake T. Austin and Jamie Foxx will all be back.
