Hans Zimmer Replacing Jack White as Composer on ‘Lone Ranger’

Back in the spring, we got the exciting news that musician Jack White was going to score Disney’s adaptation of The Lone Ranger. Well, the keen eyes at The Playlist noticed that the credits at the end of the most recent trailer listed Pirates of the Caribbean and The Dark Knight composer Hans Zimmer in that role instead. However, as they point out, Zimmer has worked with musicians like Rodrigo y Gabriela in his scores, so it didn’t seem out of the ordinary.
