Harrison Ford to Play a Legendary Newscaster in ‘Anchorman’ Sequel

If you thought the prospect of Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han Solo was exciting, this just might be even better. After taking on the role of a morning show news anchor in Morning Glory, THR reports the Indiana Jones star will get behind the newsdesk for Anchorman: The Legend Continues. Ford will play a legendary newscaster not unlike Tom Brokaw in the sequel from director Adam McKay which is shooting this month in Atlanta. Though the actor has taken on lighter fare before, this is the first straight-up comedy for the actor, who has only gone for laughs with romantic comedies or action comedies before. More below!
