J.C. Chandor’s Film ‘All Is Lost’ with Robert Redford Uses No Dialogue

I knew there was something unique about this one. In order to sign on 76-year-old Robert Redford to star in a film about being lost at sea on a sailboat, it takes more than just a good story. Ever since first hearing that Robert Redford would be starring in the follow-up from Oscar nominated Margin Call filmmaker J.C. Chandor, I had a feeling there was something special about All Is Lost. Now word has arrived from Redford himself at the Sundance opening press conference that the film actually has “no dialogue” in it.
