Jared Harris Joining Hammer Films Horror Thriller ‘The Quiet Ones’

Earlier this month Hammer Films announced a follow-up to their spooky film The Woman in Black, and now yet another horror film from the rejuvenated banner is coming together. Exclusive Media, a parent company of Hammer, has announced that “Mad Men” star Jared Harris (Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) will star in The Quiet Ones, a new horror thriller that follows an unorthodox, but charismatic professor who uses controversial methods and leads some of his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist from negative human energy. More below! It sounds like this could easily be a found footage film (it’s based on a true story as well) with someone filming and observing the professor as he attempts this experiment.
