Jason Clarke Heads to Gaghan’s ‘Candy Store’ with Chris Hemsworth

It’s time for Jason Clarke to take off. After having pivotal supporting roles in films like Lawless and Zero Dark Thirty last year, the Australian actor is really going to blossom over the next couple years. Clarke will be seen in The Great Gatsby and White House Down, but he also has a lead role in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and just confirmed to MTV that he’ll be joining Chris Hemsworth in Candy Store, the new crime thriller which was written and will be directed by Stephen Gaghan (Traffic). Clarke becomes the first official cast member with word coming straight from the actor that he’ll be shooting it right after the Apes sequel.
