Sometimes, for whatever reason, usually a bad one, a film gets shelved for an indefinite amount of time. And then, a couple years later, make their way to the big screen quietly. One such film is Shelter, which was shelved back in 2010 and has already been given a straight-to-DVD release in Canada. But now the film is coming to the United States with the title 6 Souls. The horror film follows a doctor (Julianne Moore) overseeing a patient (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) with multiple personalities, and discovers that those personalities are murder victims. You can guess where it goes next and this first trailer doesn’t look great.
