‘MacGruber’ Director Jorma Taccone Will Adapt ‘The Great Unknown’

Let it be known that despite a lackluster box office gross of just over $9 million worldwide, the “Saturday Night Live” film MacGruber starring and written by Will Forte along with The Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone, who also made his feature directorial debut with the film, is one of the best films to come out of the late night sketch comedy series. It’s likely one of the most underrated comedies in the last ten years, so I’m pleased to say that Taccone hasn’t been blacklisted because of his failure and has landed his next directing gig in the form of an adaptation of the comic The Great Unknown from Image Comics.
