Martin Sheen Returning as Uncle Ben in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’

There’s already a trio of new cast members joining The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Jamie Foxx is the new bad guy Electro, Shailene Woodley is taking the role of Mary Jane Watson and Dane DeHaan was the most recent addition as Harry Osborn. They’ll be joining Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone returning as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy for director Marc Webb, and another cast member from the first film has been confirmed to return as well. Speaking with “The Late Late Show” in Ireland (via Comic Book Movie), Martin Sheen revealed that he will be reprising his role as Uncle Ben in the sequel, shooting in February. Sheen didn’t really have any details, but he said: “They’ve called me back, I don’t know what the part is gonna be, but I’m going to be ‘Uncle Ben’ once again in Spider-Man next year.
