Marvel’s Kevin Feige Says ‘Iron Man 3’ is Not Just a ‘Serious Movie’
After that first trailer for Iron Man 3 debuted last month, fans noticed the obvious lack of humor and sarcasm that we’ve come to expect from Robert Downey Jr. and his perfect take on Tony Stark. However, it sounds like Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige wants to make sure everyone knows that they’re not going straight-up serious for the sequel from director Shane Black. After all, the man behind the dark comedy Kiss Kiss Bang Bang has to bring at least some laughs right? In a recent interview with The West Australian (via ComingSoon), Feige says, “It’s not a serious movie, but we seriously dig into exploring more of Tony.” It’s important to note that the serious nature of the first Iron Man 3 trailer shouldn’t really indicate that the entire film will be serious, but the stakes are high and Tony has been shaken after the events in New York …
