Olly Moss Reveals Spectacular 85th Anniversary Oscars Poster Art

85 Oscars. 85 Years. 85 Best Picture Winners. The Academy (via Awards Daily), as part of the Gallery1988 artwork collaboration, has unveiled the official poster for the 85th Academy Awards this year. The actual official design, which features a new representation of the iconic statuette, shows the “light Oscar” which is based on Gjon Mili’s 1949 Life magazine photographs of Pablo Picasso. It also includes the title of all of the nominated films this year. But besides that, they got Olly Moss to create a special 85th Anniversary poster, featuring an iconic character statuette for each and every Best Picture winner over the last 85 years. It’s brilliant. This is why I love that the Academy is working with Gallery1988 to create stunning art like this.
