Paramount Reschedules ‘World War Z’ from December to June 2013

Briefly: A release update that will upset fans waiting for the zombie apocalypse. Paramount has recently set new release dates (via Collider) for a few upcoming films, and have bumped Marc Forster’s World War Z adaptation, starring Brad Pitt, from December of this year all the way to June 21st, 2013. Looks like they’re saving it for the summer and giving it time, plenty of time, to finish up. We buzzed about the highly anticipated adaptation of Max Brooks’ zombie book being set for this year, but looks like we’ll have to wait another six months. Chris McQuarrie’s One Shot movie with Tom Cruise was put in its old December 21st, 2012 slot, and Paramount also scheduled Jonathan Liebesman’s TMNT movie for Christmas Day in 2013.
