Paul Walker to Headline ‘Hitman’ Video Game Reboot Titled ‘Agent 47’

It sounds like a worldwide gross of nearly $100 million wasn’t good enough for Fox to consider a sequel to the 2007 video game adaptation Hitman starring Timothy Olyphant. Though there were rumblings of a sequel back in 2010, the film never made any progress. Now Deadline reports Fox International Productions is rebooting the Square Enix video game film with Fast and Furious franchise star Paul Walker set to take the title role of Agent 47. The script comes from A Good Day to Die Hard writer Skip Woods and Michael Finch and will be directed by commercial director Aleksander Bach, making his feature debut.
