‘Peeples’ Trailer: First Look at Tyler Perry’s New Movie (EXCLUSIVE)

From the never-ending in-law-disaster genre comes Tyler Perry’s spin on a “Meet the Parents”-style comedy of errors. In “Peeples,” a regular Joe (Craig Robinson) wants to pop the question to his girlfriend (Kerry Washington) but needs her perfect family’s approval first. However, when he meets his in-laws-to-be — spoiler alert! — things do not go according to plan. Very, very far from it, in fact. In the newly released trailer, which you can watch above, Robinson gets attacked by a pooch, is found dancing in a ’70s-style headdress, and walks through fire, all in the name of love. “Peeples” starring Robinson, David Alan Grier, Washington, S. Epatha Merkerson and Kali Hawk, hits theaters May 10.
