‘Predators’ Director to Helm 3D Concert Narrative Film for Metallica

Since the Justin Beiber: Never Say Never 3D concert film was such a smash hit, Paramount is following up with yet another concert documentary in the third dimension with Katy Perry leading the way. But both those acts are the pop sensations of today for young kids. What about the hardcore old guys looking to rock out in 3D? No need to worry about them as Variety reports Predators and Vacancy director Nimrod Antal will be at the helm of a currently untitled 3D film featuring the metal band Metallica in a combination of concert footage and unspecified narrative elements starring all four members of the band.
