Robin Williams to Lead ‘Boulevard’ Drama from Director Dito Montiel

Though his last film Son of No One didn’t fare too well with the box office or critics, director Dito Montiel has a new film at Lionsgate awaiting a release date called Empire State, and a future project with an interesting lead actor. Variety has word that Robin Williams will lead Montiel’s drama Boulevard, a drama written by Douglas Soesbe which follows a devoted husband in a marriage of convenience until a run-in with a guarded young man forces him to come to terms with his own secrets. The film will also mark a big debut for up and coming actor Roberto Aguire, who has an uncredited role in Struck by Lightning. Williams has been pretty low key on the big screen following Old Dogs in 2009, but he did reprise his voice role in Happy Feet 2.
