Samuel L. Jackson Reteams with ‘Snakes on a Plane’ Director for ‘Kite’
Back in September of 2011, we found out that director David R. Ellis would be stepping out of his comfort zone and directing a live action adaptation of a Japanese anime called Kite. The story follows a young girl living in a broken society, post-financial collapse, where her policeman father is killed by a corrupt police officer inside the force, so she teams with her dad’s ex-partner to try to solve his murder.
