Steve Carell and Toni Collette Reunite for ‘The Way, Way Back’ Indie

Fans of “Community” have long been familiar with the work of Jim Rash, who plays Dean Pelton on NBC’s Thursday night comedy. Those who don’t watch “Community” (shame!) became familiar with him when he and co-writer Nat Faxon won an Oscar this year for writing Alexander Payne’s The Descendants, and Rash inadvertently created an internet meme by making fun of Angelina Jolie’s ridiculous leg pose during his acceptance speech. Now, Variety reports Rash and Faxon will make their directorial debut on a film called The Way, Way Back, and Steve Carell and Toni Collette have joined the cast of the indie. Read on!
