Thomas Jane, Cary Elwes & More Join Sly in Indie Drama ‘Reach Me’
Earlier this week, we reported that Sylvester Stallone had taken a step back from testosterone-fueled action films and completed a few days of acting in Reach Me, an indie drama written and directed by his Cobra co-star John Herzfeld. Now a press release reveals a huge number of additions to the cast, as Thomas Jane, Cary Elwes, Tom Berenger, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Connolly, Kelsey Grammer, Terry Crews, Ryan Kwanten, David O’Hara, and Lauren Cohan have all joined the film, which has been shooting for three weeks. They’ve probably been cast for awhile and are just now being announced. The press release describes the story as “an uplifting ensemble comedy/drama about a dozen fractured characters whose lives intertwine and eventually collide as a result of a self-published motivational book and its anonymous author.” But the author in the movie isn’t too anonymous, since we already know from this week’s earlier report that …
