Tina Fey Joining Jason Bateman for Levy’s ‘This is Where I Leave You’
Following the conclusion of her NBC comedy series “30 Rock” and a successful hosting stint alongside friend and “Saturday Night Live” veteran Amy Poehler at the Golden Globes earlier this year, Tina Fey is getting her film career in order. The actress is already taken on The Nest with the director of Pitch Perfect, and now THR has word that Fey is joining Jason Bateman for the adaptation of Jonathan Tropper’s novel This is Where I Leave You, which is being directed by Shawn Levy. Fey is no stranger to Levy’s work as a director since she shared the screen with Steve Carell for the filmmaker’s action comedy Date Night in 2010.
